Took a train from Sydney down to Katoomba,
it's a really small town with a vintage feel to it.
There are many good bnb places around, the one we chose
was very spacious, like an apartment on its own!
Echo Point, where the hiking trails are
3 Sisters
We googled for good eateries around and surprisingly,
the top one that everyone on Tripadvisor recommended
was actually a restaurant serving asian cuisine!
They offer a wide range of desserts and some are so creative, like
the animals meringues! The wedding cakes displayed near
the entrance are gorgeous
Ordered the noodles and a bowl of laksa.
What I really enjoyed about the laksa was that the broth wasnt
too thick and it was full of ingredients!
Yellow Deli is another place I definitely recommend everyone to go!
The decor is so hippie and food is really good!
Visited the deli twice when we were there,
everything we tried was delicious.
Favourite has got to be the barramundi fish burger!
They prepare everything on the spot, so it can
take awhile before you get your food when the place gets busy
It was a nice change from the bustling city that we're
used to, no worries about work or anything haha.
